Emile-A239, more commonly known simply as Emile, is a Spartan-III soldier featured in the video game Halo: Reach, which marks his first appearance. He is a member of Noble Team, a special operations unit within the UNSC.

Known for his aggressive and often confrontational personality, Emile contrasts with the more reserved members of Noble Team. He is a skilled close-quarters combatant, favoring his kukri knife and shotgun. His helmet bears a skull carving, a personal touch reflecting his intense nature and belief in intimidating the enemy.

Emile plays a crucial role in the defense of Reach, particularly in protecting vital assets and delaying the Covenant invasion. He ultimately sacrifices himself to ensure the Pillar of Autumn, carrying Cortana and Master Chief, escapes the planet.
